Music Without Borders Launch Party at Mercury Live

This Friday Wild Eastern Arches, The Mystics and Cape TownŽs newest group Good Night Wembley will be rocking out at Mercury for the Music Without Borders launch party.

Wild Eastern Arches is a psychedelic experimental rock ŽnŽ roll band known for stretching the capabilities of instruments, blending varieties of sounds and focusing on a show as a complete experience in a musical, visual and tangible way. The Mystics are a 3-piece Blues Rock band that has received a very positive response from a variety of audiences in and around Cape Town.  The band has performed at big name festivals like Synergy Live and Rock The River while their style and sound is driven by Blues Rock with a modern edge to it. Good Night Wembley, is Cape TownŽs newest rock force comprising of George v/d Spuy (Taxi Violence) - Vocals, Nic Gaud (7th Son) - Guitar & Vocals, Alex Krause (Dead Lucky) - Guitar, Gideon de Kock (Like Knives/Yes Sir! Mister Machine) - Bass Guitar, Jean Middelvinger (Dead Lucky/Machineri/Stepdog) - Drums. The band will be performing their debut show this Friday and we are very excited to see what they have in store for us. The Robfather will be wrapping it up on the decks after.

Music Without Borders is a gang that makes the music business into a family business, supporting the underground as well as playing in the mainstream. According to these guys 'music and tequila are their business and business is good' - sounds like a recipe for success. We like! This Friday marks the start of an ongoing monthly series of live events at the very home of rock & roll in Capetown, Mercury Live. And to kick off the festivities in a big way - we're giving away a double ticket to this event.

All you have to do is tweet us up @20summing with the following 'I want to go to the Music Without Borders Launch Party' and we'll let you know by midday Friday.
